alright hey guys i have adsl right... and i am trying to get my network to go.. on my adsl sheet it says that i have two ip addresses right well i thought great then i jus tplug in my computer to the hub like when i had cable.. but that is not the case! can n e one help me with this.. i really need some help here. and i can't even get a network to go though just to my two computers.. it is so frusterating alright thanx bye

i am running windows 98 on both of them and i am running it through a hub.. well trying atleast

"Most" DSL ISP's require PPPoE authentication, meaning, username and password and a special software to log on.

Windows XP supports this natively, other OS's will require you to install PPPoE software. Routers support it in their firmware.
