these 4 in 1's screwed my HL (halflife) big time...so i wanna c if uninstalling them will make them work again

did you try rolling back the drivers in the device manager ?

i think it's under system devices / Via tech cpu to agp controler.

just look for a driver in there that came from via and roll it back.

i'm not really sure so you may want to check with someone else.

have you tried reinstalling half-life?

i had to last week 'cause my mouse would not play well with my keyboard, i think i may have corupted a file or something from OC'ing too high

When you install the VIA 4 in 1 drivers there is a Box that say's Install or un- install

before you go so far as to reformat, try reinstalling your vidcard drivers as well as directX.

no guarantee this will do the trick, but worth a shot.

when i install the 28.32 drivers for the nvidia video card...it says that i have the 21.83's installed???...why is this??

have you tried removing you video card in the device manager , then rebooting to let windows detect it and then install drivers ??

just throwing out some ideas

when i install the 28.32 drivers for the nvidia video card...it says that i have the 21.83's installed???...why is this??

did you uninstall the original ones first?

he probably didnt...but the 28.32s are patched onto the old ones...I just did my Ti500 tonight and I didnt have to uninstall....

however I see your running ME...YOU might have to reinstall after you uninstall...I however didnt have to (win2k) so try that first

sry i forgot to update my windows version in my sig...lol...didn't notice that....i will try to reinstall again
