I was done assembling my grandpa's new computer today when I realized that the computer wasn't recognizing the hard drive, but only the cd rom. I switched busses, cables, and even made the hard drive the slave for the cd, all to failure. So I stuck the troublesome hard drive into my other working comp, and it picks it up just fine. However, I stick it back in my grandpa's computer as a master on IDE 1 or 2, still no recognization. When I make the hard drive the slave of the cd, the comp says no ide devices connected!?! Any ideas on what to do? Here's my list below
