Possible Good News for @Home

Post by Da_Devastator »

Hi all.

I heard that @home will soon come out with 3 options (in about a couple months). The Speeds i hear will be much improved. The one that just about all peeps have will increase to 256 k for the upstream and remain at 1.5 mb for the download. I dont know the rates of the other two, but i hear that the one with the best upload will be 512 k (about 64 kb/s). This info was heard at a comcast meeting. These may available at different times at different areas, though!

I don't think so. @Home is bankrupt and will cease all operations on February 28, 2002

The upload isn't really what bugs me... it's the download cap that annoys the hell out of me....
