.avi sound to mp3 or WAV

is there any way to take some music from a .avi movie file and save it to mp3 or wav format ??

Yes you can do it ,but not with using it the windows recorder software ..

As the media player will insolate the windows recording software .

You need just another external recording software , like Cool Edit 2000 or a common recording software that comes with the SB sound cards .
