Anyone knows other faster internet services?

I live in Portland OR. Anyone knows what other faster internet services offered here beside ATTBI? I don't think I will go for DSL.

check for satalite service?

other than that its cable or dsl, attbi for cable and aol, msn, snet, eathlink and direct tv for dsl i think

But, satellite service sucks. Ping rates are horrendous and if it rains (Hello Portland!) that delays the signal even more. They need to do A LOT of refining to make satellite even close to feasible.

In our area CAT5, ATTBI is about it. Our choices are cable or DSL, unless you have the massive $$$ to install your own T1. Until something else comes through, we're kinda stuck.

You can always pay ATTBI for the business package if money is not the issue... but speed is.
