The nForce board is nice if you're gonna use the MX board on it.... but itz really damn slow if you plan on runnin Q3 or any newer games..... Itz quite cheap tho considering itz got all that other stuff intergrated, but most DYI ppl have lotz of the extra stuff lying around anyways (Nics, soundcards)

Well
I actually plan on using the on board sound, as it's better then what I have now (Supposedly it's a 5.1, I have the older SB PCI 128). As for video, I'm moving over my Radeon 64mb DDR as well. Just very interested to see how it benches!

the iwillxp333-r is kinda like ati
it 'sounds' good on paper
but in reality it is not due to limitations in the hardware/software
plus it's based on the Ali Magic 1 chipset, NOT the KT266A chipset from VIA
you will find out how bad that board is when you try it
i too was excited when i first got it, on the spec sheet it sounded like a Dream, but a Dream it was not

How much did you make off it?Originally posted by John
I ordered the Iwill xp333 today after reading anandtech's roundup of the kt266a's (sold my dually system yesterday for WAY more than I paid for it).
I want to see what this board is like now...
And where are you selling an entire rig that lets you feel secure about the transaction?
Oh yeah, and didn't you have another system besides the dual proc system?

i was excited too, then i found outOriginally posted by John
Just read another review at PC Stats
Same performance levels as the kt2166a boards.
Maybe you got a bad board brent, but I am hella excited to get mine and test it out!!
i guess you will to.
then again, you are much smarter than me.

Unless they fixed the problems in your revision, which is possible i guess
You are getting revision 2.1 which is the absolute latest and fully supports AXP's
Mine is revision 2.0 and does not correctly support AXP's, However I just used a regular 1.4Ghz T-bird anyways.
I guess you'll find out
Memory bandwith on mine was NOT very fast at all, with max memory timmings, and there were NOT a whole lot of options to change memory timming wise
