FTP server in XP pro

I was using BPftp server v2.15 on winME, will it work on XP pro, or any advice for a good FTP server, thanks.
Samsung 760v TFT @ 1280 X 1024 32 bit
Lian-Li PC67 with 2 80mm U1A / 2 HD cooler intake and 1 80mm H1A / 1 80mm ADDA exhaust
NF7-S v2.0 (BIOS 18) (SATA 10033) (nforce pack 2.45) AS2 on NB Heat sink on SB
Alpha PAL 8045 with Thermaltake Smart Fan (blowing away from HS)
XP2500+ Barton/AQXEA (9) 0323/11X200/AS2/Vcore 1.725/DDR 2.6/Chipset 1.7/Agp 1.5/Idle 36/Load 51
Mushkin blk lvlII DDR3200 2X256MB 11-2-2-2 DC

Thanks for the offer, does serv-u support port mapping like bpftp, because I am using a linksys router.

yes, serv-u supports port mapping

Have you tried just installing bullet proof ftp server in XP?

Yes, I had just install BPftp server and it seems like working fine, home page never said it is xp support, but on download.com, it said it is xp support.

My server will be up for awhile for testing

you can try the compatibility mode feature in winXP.

just go to the shortcut or the exe and right click on it and select properties.....hit the COMPATIBILITY tab and selece the os you want compatibility with.......ive used it before.....with an autocad prog i have.......worked like a dream.

but if you can score a better ftp server like the kewl folks here offer to ya.....id go that route :D

just throwing an option at ya.

isnt it great to see the comradery (sp?) that the peeps here give to those in a jam!?
