Hypothetical situation...

Post by Gaming-Module »

You are 21, and you're girlfriend is just turning 19. She wants you to take her over the border to Canada in your nice Mustang, to get drunk and maybe hit up a Casino.

You being the cautious person that you are, do you A) take your car over to Cananda so your girlfriend can get $hitfaced at some club while you just sit there, and then come back to face the border guard, or B) tell your girlfriend nothin doing because you can't drink anyway and have seen what happens to nice cars on previous excursions to Canadia.

Which brings up another hypothetical situation. What would the border guard (wow that sounds intimidating) do to you if they found this drunken 19 year old, whom is legally underage in the good ole USofA and asked what are you doing with her and why is she drunk?

The reason I ask is because you were supposed to be hitching a ride with her sister as "the designated" and she has cancelled at the last minute with "car problems" and requests that they go in your ride. Even when you have a minivan to use, it just "wont quite be the same," without your ride.

So what do you do? Bite the bullet and take em. or play it safe like the pansy a$s you that you are!?!?!? Well, c'mon sissy! I'm waiting for an answer. Namby pamby. :D

HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING! You live in Michigan, Southeast metro Detroit area, just an hour and a cavity search away from the good ole empire of Canadia.

Can you pass the "red face test"? What would be your answer to this question?

Hi Macho-Module

As long as your Sober & Driving there should be no problem. It won't be the first buzzed person the Border Guards have seen.

Make sure they have Picture ID with them, You as well, plus Car Ownership, Insurance & Registration.

Make sure also there is nothing in Your Car that can be considered a weapon of any kind.

Have Fun

I don't think you can pass it. Unless you and the chick could spend the night in Canada and you'd be up for it, don't bother, too much problems as it is already at the border.

Hey Macho! Sounds like a fun evening you have planned there... As Minir said, as long as you have all the legal documents that might be requested, there probably won't be any problems. (At least, there never were in the past, but in this era of increased security - who knows...)

But I speak from experience, being the designated driver, and getting your $hitfaced friends home from Canada is a drag (granted, one of my good buddies promised a guy she was flirting with a ride home to Oak Harbor, OH)!

If it's more than just the two of you, it can be alot of fun though!

I say take her.

Just make sure your not drinking if your going to be driving. Do as minir stated, with all the IDs and proper info so that in case they do stop you it will be brief....

Well then!

I guess, hypothetically, you're going to Canada. ;)

Thanx all. It's just that I've never been the one driving people over the border. I've always been the one in the back seat until now.

I recommend that you drive at high speeds untill you hit canada. Go straight to the nearest casino and live life to the fullest.

You might wake up in a yard in some neighborhood in some town that you had no idea existed. But these things happen.

This would be what you call an adventure. Make the most of it, and come back with embellished stories of nude midgets chasing lawnmowers!

Thank you sir, for the correction. Seizing the lawnmower holding midget would be a bad idea.

Find a place to chill and get drunk there, that is what I do. Expecially now since my friend has a Fake.
We have seen their kind before. They're the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies.

Who's worried about the "Canny" cops! Do they even give them guns? ;)

But seriously though, we went and whoa boy, did my girl get chitfaced. It was very embarrassing towards the end. I thought the border sentinal people were gonna cavity search me right there. Luckily, she composed herself long enough to not elicit any unwanted attention.

Only downside is that I didn't get to go to the casino, because she would have gotten us thrown out on sight. Especially dissapointing since the club pretty much sucked (except for the hot body contest, which kinda sucked - no nudity, but at the same time didn't suck - hey, at least they were female!) :(

Not my best trip to Canada, but at least this time I didn't get escorted out of Jokers by one of the bouncers for being "Dangerously Intoxicated". :D
