Lobo and HalfLifer

Post by Lee_Nover »

You two need to stop it. It's becoming quite counter-productive and people who come here to seek advice do not need to see this feud. It's actually quite embarrassing for others to see. Speak to each other off line, or through another means, and be done with it.

I think both lobo and halflifer do thier part in helping people tweak thier internet connections. They do debate over rwins and if cpu speed should be a factor in rwins, but its good to hear both opinions.

The only thing Im trying to to is help.

I do realize it looks stupid and thats why I stopped. Lobo wont budge on that. He doesnt know what RWIN is, and when ever I try teaching him, he tells me IM a younging. Oh well ;)

HalfLifer, just some advice. If a reader wants to speed up his connection, and gives you the TCP/IP analyzer results, and Lobo requests CPU and memory Size, let him. The debate is going no where. At one point in time, it was constructive to hear both opinions, but I think it has gone beyond that, counter-productive so to speak. Turn a blind eye to it, and just continue to help the user as if he/she had never post CPU amd memory size. You two will never be harmonious on the ideology of RWIN size with respect to CPU/memory size, so their is no point.

Cool?

Bottom line use what's best for you ;)
