Post by terrancelam »

Well we've seen each other here on the board, why not have a first ever Canadian SG meeting for those of us here in Toronto? I know there is a great deal of people from Toronto posting here on SG. We could all meet at a coffie time or something of that sort and have a diccusssion over anything.

That would be very cool, we are only a few hours from there. I grew up in T.O., and moved here about 12 years ago. MG and I have always wanted a meeting like that. :)

The drinking thing sounds alright to me..MG and I are beer drinkers, but we do have to remember that some of the other members may be under age.. ;)

Would any of you be willing to goto like a place like sneeky dees on college and spadina? That or one of the places on front street? A bit pricer, but more room and the tex mex food and good.

Haven't been to sneeky dees in aaaaaaaaaages, but it was jumpin whenever I did go. They got busted for over-crowding so I dunno if it's still good, is it?

A lot of good comp stores down that way too.
The more I drink, the less I care.

Hey guys

Sounds like a good plan. If I'm not working I'll make the drive down there. My friend is in rez at York business school (Passy Cresent) so I can stay with him. Is that anywhere near the meeting spot?

That sounds like a blast to me..but, please don't forget MG and I are "old folks"...I love the bar stuff, the music, the crowd..MG always gets into a fight with someone when we go out. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I might have to wait a few weeks though..he is still in that training program out of town. Then we have to see what his shift is like...but that would mean we could do the sleezy motel thing after...very cool. :p

It's a bit more downtown

Post by terrancelam »

the closest TTC station to York is the Young and St.Lawrence one, I believe. This depends on what part of York your friend is staying at. But is should be no more then a 20min TTC ride to Sneeky Dees or anywhere else in Downtown! :)

As for the meeting place, so then does everyone agree on Sneeky Dees? Or is there a better suggestion?

Also a date? Maybe in December? When most students and workers get the break for the holiday? Any ideas for this?

Glad to hear so many repsonces!
