Is there a way I can speed up my download speed through MIRC or chat programs ? I'am only downloadin around 173kbps whereas through a FTP I can download at over 900kbps. Any suggestions ? My mIRC setting is already set to fast and a max of 4096bytes/sec per packet.
Well, really, the only way to speed up is to find people with T1s and T3s or Broadband users with Very high Uploading speeds. You can only download as fast as the other person's uploading rate, so you can't really do anything unless you can find a couple of T3ers..
/fsend on: Is this the same as checking the Fast Send box ?
/pdcc: Pump DCC, its give a diferent value when I entered it like 2147483647 bytes. What does that do, isn't DCC limited to a max of 4096bytes per packet ?
