first time playing quake, won 3 times!!

I had tried quake a long time ago, playing with the demo. I wasnt very good, but I've gotten a lot better with the keyboard and mouse. Anywho, I was finally able to play the full version of quake 3 for the very first time today. There were 6 people in the room and I beat all of them... three times in a row!! I won by a lot too.

Three cheers for me!!

we'll have to play each other some time, in fact i'm about ready for a whole SG deathmatch in Q3

I would love to do that!! I'll be free anytime tomarrow night if anyone is interested! I'm probably not very good, just lucky this evening. It sure is fun though... the graphics are amazing.

Hmm... I think I might have been playing one player. If you play one player, do the other characters seem to talk? God, I cant believe how out of touch i am with some things!

Yes but what do you play?? I play ra3 allmost exclusivly. So what type of Q3 does everyone else play??

I'll install Q3 and play with you guys if you want....let me know what mods and where I can get them...as I'm only used to regular Q3.

Yes the bots talk but this can be turned off by /bot_nochat "1" 1=onn 0 =off

I cant believe I was talking to bots, and thought they were real.

This is the worst thing I've ever done before!!

I'd host the game, but i have cable and cable is too fragile to host even a dinner party.
