I have always used ZA, but since I installed XP I couldn't get ZA to work. So I installed Tiny, and I like it. The only problem is my network adapter won't renew. Is there a rule that I need to create to allow it to renew? I know there was a page on here a while back with alot of information about Tiny, but I lost the link. Thanks.
I wanted to let you know that your post isn't being ignored. There are a few people who use tiny, Fredra being one of the most experienced (And he has great help pages bookmarked too) however, he isn't in home currently. I wish I had the answer you seek. Hang in there and keep bumping this until someone has the answer.
When you used ZA, what version? The new 2.6.357 is compatible with XP, however, I'm having some minor issues with it on 98se.
ZoneAlarm Pro v2.6 dose work with winxp, but on install its says something like this program might not run and so on, but im useing xp and that firewall with no problems.
From what I have read, and this works for me, that the current Zone Alarm is fine in XP as long as M$ built in firewall is disabled. Then no prob for Zone Alarm.
Just curious what problems are yo having with ZA on win98? I just upgraded to the same version but Professional and running win98se everything seems to run fine?
