Good video card???

Post by jordanw77 »

I have the GeForce 2 MX 200. It's ok. I want something that does better and I won't have to upgrade soon. I prefer if it was a 64mb card. I looked at pricewatch.com and I see alot but most of those cheap ones are not pure. They are like generic. So what is a good video card that has 64mb, does better than geforce 2 mx 200, and is under 130$???? any suggestions... I only want an answer from ppl that have that kinda card im looking for. i play half life tfc and unreal tournament. plus this next card i want to get im gonna OC a little.

Geforce 2 GTS 32MB... You might be able to pick up a 64 for that price but it will be "generic"

Id get the 32 its plenty fast and you wont need an upgrade for atleast another 2 or 3 years.

if your willing to spend a tad more about $150 you can get a GF2 Ti which is almost at GF2 Ultra speeds which is pretty damned fast really for the type of games you play...

GeForce2 TI

Post by jordanw77 »

Okay, I'm at http://www.pricewatch.com it says that the GeForce 2 Ti starts at $101. There is many different brands to choose from. Which of the following should I choose:

Power Magic
Inno3d
eVGA
PNY
Gainward
VisionTek

Do they all have the *same exact* performance? Because if that's the case I can get the "eVGA nVidia Geforce2 TI titanium 5ns 64mb DDR W/TV Out" for only $115 + shipping. Please reply ASAP, I want a new video card soon!!!

Thanks for all the help,
Jordan :D

at those prices those are prolly OEM cards so be warned you aren't going to get a full retail package

Out of that list top cards starting in this order from best to lowest

Gainward
VisionTek
PNY
Innod3D

those are the 4 i would even look at out of that list
