Will Be Xp Pro Compatible With

hi i want to know if all my games startcraft, dune 2000, emperor, half life and all its mods ,command and conquer tiberiam sun , C++, 3dmax studio3 , paint shop 7, McAFEE ,black ice deffender

i want to know because i am buyign an inspiration 8100 and i want to know if those and more software and game will be compatible and if will work with my router and communicate wiht my WIN2k and WIN98SE

I cant speak from experience on all of them. However, the only one I would really question would be mcafee. I only wonder about that one because I know both nortons 2000 and 2001 have serious issues with winXP. I know for sure ps7 works fine. Plus, if anything does have issues; you can always run it in a compatability layer. In fact, there is a typing program I use that will only work for win95. it will not even work with win98se! I can put it in a compatability layer of win95 and it works perfect in winXP.

Amro, I don't use XP to test this, but wasn't the latest upgrade for BI, a compatible thing for XP?

i don't think so, it came up telling me it was a no go, not gonna install and give myself a blue screen tho. hehe

Get Norton antivirus 2002 , It has got comp. with winxp

Norton 2002 is the only AV ive tested that works.

All these are on my sys and work fine:

Photoshop 6
Cute FTP pro V.1
Director 8.5
Fireworks 6
Norton 2002
Tiny Firewall
Windowblinds 6 beta I think
XP poweroys
Tweak XP
3D studio max 4
Borland delphi
a few others, cant remember them all Im at work.

Project IGI
Max Payne
Dune

The only problems Ive had are with sound quality on my SB live value (it suxs bigtime)
