ok so i have SURFboard SB3100 cable modem and in the config manager on this ip http://192.168.100.1/ it says Baseline Privacy is Skipped while everything else is fine.Is this any reason to worry? is the modem dead?

I have the same modem and it says the same thing. It will work find. Don't worry about it 
Worry if under logs you get alot of "Failed" and "Error" messages like I do.
