More bad speed from Cox@Home :( I been having this issue for 3 months.

Get help and discuss anything related to tweaking your internet connection, as well as the different tools and registry patches on the site. TCP Optimizer settings and Analyzer results should be posted here.

More bad speed from Cox@Home :( I been having this issue for 3 months.

I have tried everything btw. No tweaks i do help. Nothing wants to help. I know its on my cable modem isp's side.

Ok well these pictures show my slow download speed which is on severs i use to a long while back beable to easily get 250 to 300 KB/sec +
Also my video streaming playing some , pauses because it has to buffer then plays some more , pauses again because of another buffer and keeps doing this thru the whole video streaming about 20 + times.

Lobo already tried speedguide's tweaks , different MTU values , different everything!!
Even different computers and its all the same.

Lobo my proxy is not on but i will still try it. But i dont think it will help any sense my proxy isnt on.

Lobo well i tried turning it off by that run command and it said it couldnt find a DLL named file like that.

I am thinking about just formating my HD and reinstalling windows 2000 pro. just for the heck of it and see if it changes anything. But i dont think it will change anything at all.

This is for EVERYONE , even @home users) Control panel, internet options, Connections tab at top, LAN Setting's at bottom, and uncheck everything in this box, proxy and auto detect, Nothing sould be checked, REBOOT

Lobo nothing was ever checked when i did that test btw. Plus i made sure it wasnt checked and nothing is. Doesnt help anything.

I don't know what to tell you, but with a RWIN of 49152 your not going anywhere :)
