Yeah, this is sick, but who cares. :p

Nah, not for me. $50,000 for taking a MINUTE out of your day? You could always just puke them back out...or leave them, and they'll be out of your system in a day. That's a lot of money to just suddenly "have" out of nowhere. Maybe I'm just out of money at this point, to do something like that, but I can think of worse ways of making a quick buck. :p

Ya I saw that on Fear Factor...isn't it funny the two guys ate the balls and the two girls didn't? :) My bet is they weren't even buffalo balls but something they just made up to look like them...it's all a mind game.

I started working cattle when I was 12 years old. The real cowboy stuff. One of the things you do is to "cut" the gonads from the youngin's. We saved those of course for what' s called around here as a calf feed.

Yummy....it taste's like chicken. :D

I've never tried buffalo though.

Rocky mountain oysters. Real popular in Montana and are common on the menu (usually sheep testicles but bulls are common).

I don't know, I watched that show too, the guy was eating them like it was nothing, so it couldn't be too bad.
As long as they were fully cooked with spices and stuff, I would. Like BIGJIM said, theres lots worse stuff out there.

Buffalo are not threatened or endangered under federal law. However they are “protected” under a number of state laws. Several herds in Montana are culled yearly to remove old bulls and/or animals that pose a threat to the health of the herd. Ever been to the state fair and had the highly touted “buffalo burger?” Real good! Almost as good as the rattle snake chips.

Let me add to what MadDoctor has just posted in that there are a ton of ranches that raise buffalo just the same as they could raise beef. I even know of a few places that raise elk.

Oh and...yes I've had rattlesnake on several occasions. I never developed a taste for it.

joke I once heard. I'm paraphrasing here, so allow me some latitude.

Guy goes up to a woman and asks, "Would you blow me for $10,000?"

Woman replies, "Yeah..sure I guess"

Guy then say's, "Alright, would you do it for $50?"

Woman becomes indignant, "NO!" "What kind of a woman do you think I am?!!!"

Guy replies, "We've already established that, now we're just negotiating price"

What?!

Are you kidding? What's inappropriate about discussing a TV show?

It's OK to televise it and have kids watch it but heaven forbid we then talk about it?

There isn't much I wouldn't do for 50g's except hurt anyone or anything. Well, maybe me. Money hungry??? Damn straight!!! ;)

I've yet to see anything all that nasty on that show. What's so bad about eating a few bugs. I'd eat an elephant ball if the price is right.

Maggots were considered a delicacy by the Flathead Indians. For all I know… it still is. Haven’t been to Arlee MT in quite some time.

Want to hear some more?

Ya exactly....bugs are extremely nutritious and lots of countries consider these things a delicacy...it's all in the head...the reason these people would puke is because they're mind is telling them that it's disgusting, not their body....if he said they were cabbage rolls, they would've chowed them down with no problems.

I was watching a flick about this place were the people would make chess and let flys lay there eggs in it. Than after the moggots ate some of the chess and truned in to flys they would clean up the chess and eat it. They do this once a year and the chess is a kind like a religon thing for them. Making the chess in thier contury is aginst the law. But they clam that after the moggot have digest the chess It gives you a sprital hight. The chess its self is really a drug.

In WWI maggots were used to clean wounds. The maggots only eat dead flesh, are clean, and do not dine on living tissue. Leaches also had a roll in healing the sick. Good eating too… if you mix them with rat meat.

So I think the question is...how would you like them cooked if you had to eat them?

I think I would want mine breaded and fried. Then I could just pretend that they are breaded mushrooms (yum!) :D
