Oh I like to brag, granted it not Carver or Nacamichi, but it sounds good.

Amp: JVC RX 888v 110 or 120 per channel(5 channel)
DVD JVC or some sort, optical out.
JCS SuperVHS
JVC 36" CRT
Polk RT 400's main. Infinity rears DCM center and 10" sub.

Sounds great, only prob is I'm on concrete, bass looses a bit on that. But besides that I'm very happy.

My DVD will NOT play CD-R's that is annoying. Have to use the playstation.

I dont have anything yet except for a old Layfayette stero receiver, from like 1970, back when high tech "quadraphonic" sound was the best.
THen I got 2 floor standing speakers, with a 12 inch Pioneer woofer, and a Pioneer 3 inch mid, and a 1 inch no name tweeter.

I'm saving up for the new Kenwood receiver, The VR-4900
Very nice, the cheapest I've seen it was $1,300 at some online site, but http://www.ubid.com usually has one or two for sale for a bit cheaper, thats where I'll get mine.

http://www.ubid.com has the VR-4900 at $909 right now, good deal.
They usually have the Nakimichi Dragon CD player system, that thing is amazing. but ultra expensive. $4,000 dollars and up. I don't know the retail price, but ubid has them for $3-4,000 every now and then. Too much money just for a CD player.

That system rocks. My father-in-law used to be a sales manager for Harmon Kardon (parent company of JBL) and he brought a set home (for free of course) just to see what it sounded like - we were quite surprised!

Hi drdoug99
wow minir, those Kimber Kable's will set you back a pretty penny but it's among the best, if not the best, wiring you can get.

They are pricey, but worth it. Very Clean and spacious.

I tried many, but like the Silver interconnects. It's amazing what they can do on a CD or Amp, Pre.

Speaker Cables where too much, but someday when i win the Lottery ;)

Take care

On my main system I have a Nakamichi receiver and tape deck, California Audio Labs CD player, Apex DVD (So so hackable....), Pioneer Laser Disk player, an old Technics turntable with Shure V15 type 5 cartridge..... Infiniti speakers and Sub.

I am building a tube amp... 5 channel.... quite a project. Nothing like the sound of hot glass.

i have in my truck, 2 12" subs in a dual bandpass subzero box, they are powerd by a 800 watt amp, and i also have 26" blaukpaunkts in the back wall tha tare powerd off of a 200 watt amp, then i have a 2000 pioneer preimeer detachable face cd deck. and for the up front speekers i have 2 4" blaukpaunkts in the dash that are powerd by a 100w att amp.

i have a lot of power in my truck, so much that it has a seperate battery for the sterio. but i ned to take the 100 watt amp out cause it drains the battery 2 quick, and i want to get ridd of the extra battery, so i only have one, and i can just get a power cell for it.

Yamaha GX-500 Bookshelf system

Pretty awesome little system. 200W, 3 disc carousel, and Yamaha's Ymersion, which makes this thing the best surround sound system I have ever heard (for this size and wattage).
