well if this is what you mean,I hold "alt" & "print screen",then open "microsoft paint",and then "edit/paste",then save it to anywhwere you want.is that what you ment?what OS are you using?

to make that a little more clear.

1.) to take a shot of the active window only, press alt + print scrn

2.) to take a shot of your entire computer screen just press print screen

Once youve done either of the two open up ANY paint program and paste. Your image will appear for you to crop, pain, and save

The best program is analogx's capture program found here:

Works like a charm, plus it's free. The problem with print screen and paste is that you can only do one at a time. With the capture program, you just click on the camera and it auto captures and then auto saves it. Total ease!

don't you think chances are good that remo has ms paint already on the pc ?

I'm not saying paint isnt a good way to do it, I just found it was a pain in my behind that way. This way is much easier and free!

SnagIt is the best. It can capture entire desktop or just a window. It can save as an image, or save to clipboard or immediately print it
