Does anyone have the 2 way directpc and like it? I will be moving
and will not have access to dsl or cable service and all i have found is the directpc.

If you can't get dsl or cable dircpc is a good idea. You will get speeds at about 400kbps down and i think 128 kbps up.

Not with the Linksys router.
You have special cards installed in your PC, from what I read.

You could use a second nic and Internet connection sharing.

BTW, you won't be able to play any online games. The ping rate is terribly high. The reason for that is that its a long way up to the satellite and back... BOTH WAYS!!!!

Radio Waves and in this case Microwaves are a lot slower than light !!!!

And there isn't a piece of fiber optic cable dangling off that satellite, now is there?
