My computer, and I love her..

Post by Teirney »

Chris bought me a Packard Bell...ooooooooo, awwwwwwwww!
It has had a lot of upgrades.
It now has a 700 celeron processor
32meg voodoo video card
soundblaster live sound card
256 megs ram
Awsome speakers and sub.

Mock if you will, it is the most reliable comp in the house :D

And besides it was a gift, Chris built my first one, and with all the upgrades, this is pretty close to being built... except for all the packard bell crap that takes up so much space. ;)

And there you have my computer knowledge...scary huh????

gotta love those packard bells! i have a PB sittin in my room.. when i bought it is was -
75mhz P1
8mb ram
1gb hard drive
1mb video
windows 3.1 but came with a free mail in upgrade to windows95

good ol thing.. now its -
133mhz p1
72mb ram
800 meg hard drive (dont ask)
1mb video
windows 98SE

the 1 gig... i have never formatted. its still sittin the computer case, not plugged in at all. i could plug it in right now and windows 95 would boot up, no problem.

as for this computer -
450p3
192mb ram
19 gig hard drive (partitioned into a 15 and a 4)
nvidia tnt2 32mb video

it really dominates

oh and both computers are on my cable modem via my linksys 4-port router.
