msconfig

Post by Ahoyhoy »

I've been having some really weird sound problems with my computer. So, I ran msconfig, checked selective startup, and unchecked all the boxes expect for scanregistry and loadpowerprofile. I restarted after checking one box at a time. All the sound worked until I checked the MSN messenger box. I'm pretty sure it's this program that's causing the problem. So, I unchecked the box. The problem is, whenever I run MSN messenger, it automatically checks the box for me in msconfig. Is there anyway to stop this? Thanks! Ahoyhoy

I have only used msn messanger once. For a very short time. Anyways, isnt there a option in the 'options section' to have it run on startup?
