IE 6.0 problem

Post by Joe »

I just installed this latest beta software and now in explorer I cant preview files on the left hand side anymore such as pictures, movies, or audio.

Whats the deal?

Anyone else have this problem?

IE 6 is really not that special it appears like they added a few things that no one will ever use to 5.5 and slapped a name on it.

lol, I know what a beta is man... I didnt download it thinking it was going to be bug free... I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similiar problem so I can find out if it was my setup or IE itself.

I also just found out it screwed up windows explorer... thats where I draw the line... it is gone now and everything seems to be back where i had. Good old IE 5.01 !! :D :D

If you have windows 2000 you can get IE Irradicator from 98lite.com and it will remove it so you can install a dif version.. but i think the program destroys Ie and any possiblilty of installing it again once done.. go to 98lite.com and see

Ie 6 probly just has a driffent defult setting than ie5.5. and ie 5.

I using it now ans hve been since it came out no prombles with it. and I also view my pictures on the left :D

I think it just might have something to do with ie6 and win2k
