router problems , pls help ...
im just wondering why can't i connect to the internet when i unplug from the router then connect directly to the dsl modem ??? ... when i try to connect on enternet . it says failed on create device ntsppp3 ... i did this because i wanna test if the router is the cause of me having a slow connection ... thanks
Ok lets see if I can give you a clue on that.. Or maybe rmrucker will see this too.. I have seen this before so lets give this a shot..
Do you have a Firewall installed if so remove it reinstall later...
Make sure when you installed the enternet program it saw the server it was supposed to connect to and not being put up without the detection...
check the properties of the network card that this FAQ was done.. http://www.dslreports.com/faq/faq#156
You didn't use the wrong cable to the modem/bridge did you some are crossover and some are straight cable
Just a few thought on it...
