And can you find the cap rate on your cable modem with a sniffer?

Your not supposed to do that its the Job of the ISP to do that...... You might want to ask them about that... The Cable company has equipment to do the nessary setup..

The sniffer wont nessarly tell you your cap but it will tell you everything else about your connection including the amount of lost packets and the size's your sending and recieving
