Android Tablet suggestions?
I've never even looked into these before but I find myself needing a tablet and I don't want to spend Apple money on a tablet. Anyone have a favorite or can direct me in what to look for?
Re: Android Tablet suggestions?
Most models that are fairly recent (released in the past couple of years) should be fine. Depending on your use, there are two major things I consider:
1) Screen size - anything from 8" for one-handed reading use, ~10" is good versatile size, and 12" feels more like a laptop/stationary use.
2) SIM Card - if you're taking it on the go, it is useful to consider its' own connectivity so you don't have to worry about hotspots. It does add 150+ to the price tag.
I personally use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE (10.9" screen, fast enough processor, T-Mobile sim card, S-Pen I rarely use). The size is a bit large for reading, but good for everything else. I've even hooked it up as a wi-fi secondary monitor for my laptop a couple of times, heh. That said, it is usually redundant, I take either a laptop or the tablet on the go, usually just the laptop when I have to do any work.
