IPX/SPX not being bound to my network card?

Hi. I have a slight problem with Windows 98. When I tried to add the IPX/SPX protocol for Starcraft LAN play, the protocol only bound to my dial-up adapter, and not my NIC hooked up to my switch nor my NIC hooked up to my DSL modem. Can anyone tell me why this is happening/what I can do?

when you install ipx/spx highlight the network card and then click on add new protocol
