Connection Speed capped at 100Mbps

Post by Hoffedemann »

Hello,
after hours of searching for a fix of my slow internet connection I stumbled upon the TCP Optimizer and it finally worked!
But it's capped at100Mbps and doesn't allow a value greater than this even tho my internet could do faster.
Where can I change the settings manually?
I disabled throttling already

Thanks in advance

Welcome to SG, glad the TCP Optimizer worked well for you.

That slider indicates 100+ Mbps, in other words it is meant for anything higher than 100 Mbps, including Gigabit connections.
I hope that helps :)

Also double check in your network settings for the NIC that the NIC can actually do more than 100Mbps. Ideally you want to see 1Gbps.
