This update has indicated that it has:
* Addressed an issue that causes Windows to reuse an expired Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) lease if the lease expired while the OS was shutdown.
If this has not been addressed, is executing the following command would do the trick:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Thanks for sharing. I imagine the update restarts the computer, that would also release/renew any DHCP leases.
