Hosting a Web Server

To all,

Is there a FAQ that covers how to set-up and use a DSL line to host a web server? Is this even possible?

The webserver would host no more than ten people at most. I would like to use the webserver to demo web based applications.

There</A> are some quick howtos. As you will find out many web server run on *nix platforms (Unix, Linux, FreeBSD).
