Voted.. Wife and daughter voted early on Saturday, I went in today and there were fewer people in line than early voting. I don't think I've seen so many proposed amendments to the Florida State Constitution ever.

Here in California we dodged the bullet on a couple of bond measures. That's one thing I think most people don't understand that a bond means more taxes. I mean... they're borrowing the money, where do you think that money comes from?

Yup wife and I walked across the street to the school at 0650....nice 'n early in the morning. As we walked up to the table, just 4 people in front of us...flew right through, back home within 10 minutes.

In Australia we have NO choice, we HAVE to vote in Federal, state and council elections and, if we have an objection to the candidates, we are STILL forced to vote.

Yeah, mandatory voting may be a bit much.
I wouldn't go that far, but making it at least a national holiday would help out with voter turnout.
