Mtu = hexadecimal or decimal value ??

Excuse Philip or other people can also contribute if they wish, my question is =

- A decimal or hexadecimal value must be added to the value of DWORD = MTU?

Examples:

1) - MTU = 1500 ---> Hexadecimal

or

2) - MTU = 5dc -----> Decimal

So what would be the correct way to add value to the MTU?

Add it as a DWORD decimal value.
