this internet connection via deutsche telekom is literally killing me..

Post by Rosie Hecker »

hi,
i took the analyzing test that your site offers, but i do not really know anything about setting up a network connection or optimizing it beyond plugging in the modem. i have been dealing with this horrible connection for like 3 years and it is literally causing serious health problems. the ISP does not really give a flying hoot about the dire state of my service, often at some mere 384 kbits. i have called and complained, complained online, but they just delete all the logged calls or service requests. so i just wanted to ask what or if you have any suggestions on how to make the best of these results, which are greek to me. i have no idea what any of these numbers mean or how or if they can be tweaked to improve this service that is literally killing me. no joke. #deutschetelekom isp...

What is the maximum connection speed supposed to be ? Is it an ADSL connection or something else ? Have you tried the "optimal" settings in the TCP Optimizer ?
