Acrobat Reader

When I open the pdf in Acrobat Reader 6 I get the error msg
"An error occured while openeing the document (114) ".
Does anybody know what the error msg means and what I've done wrong?

First hunch...Acrobat Reader 6....way way waaaaay outdated, currently on Reader XI now (11)...and that's being replaced by Reader DC.
Try downloading/installing a more current version.
