I know what you mean, years ago there was a local radio station that played mostly "elevator" or "easy listening" whatever you call it.jeremyboycool wrote:
I stopped listening to songs with lyrics a few years back. There are a few lyrics I still like but over all I have found that song writers are not always as great musicians as the people playing the instruments. They may have good poetry but that does not mean they know how to develop quality musical sound. Sometimes lyrics are just a distraction to the music. I have also moved away from the dominating guitar sound. Nothing against it; it just floods the air ways and I am a bit worn on hearing it.
2 Cellos does a lot of great remakes of rock classics.
Thanks, i'll look into some of thosejeremyboycool wrote:I use Pandora. I have found this genre of music that is instrumental but more modern and has a beat to it. Some of it is remakes of popular main stream music, some of it is pepped up versions of classical music and some of it is original. If you like instrumental, off the top of my head, give Tiesto, Blackmill, Lindsey Stirling, Bryson Andres and Josh Vietti a listen.
To error is human but piss off the wife and all that means nothing!
