Hi!
I have a 3mpbs plan @PLDT home DSL account. Can someone help me to tweak it to it's maximum speed or any ups will do so.
I don't really have any ideas about tweaking. I'm just a ordinary gamer with high hopes and dreams lol.
Thank you in advance!

PLDT [ISP] help to tweak
Use the "optimal" settings in the TCP Optimizer first... You can read the gaming tweaks article if you'd like every last little thing covered, many of the settings there can be applied with the TCP Optimizer --> http://www.speedguide.net/articles/gaming-tweaks-5812

Hi! Thank you for respondingPhilip wrote:Use the "optimal" settings in the TCP Optimizer first... I already follow the instructions in gaming tweaks article and used the TCP optimizer, it works. Before then my download speed is only 350kpbs peak. Now my download speed is now 400kpbs peak. Also it really improves my ping in gaming especially Dota2 and CSGO. Anyway, I'm reading some of the forums here and I saw some post that his download speed reaches 700kpbs peak. Is that possible for me too?
Thanks Philip!
DSL speed really drops down with the line distance, so it depends on what your modem can sync at. What is your speed rated at from your ISP ? (i.e. what do they say your maximum rate should be ?) If you are getting 80% of that rated speed, you should be happy, as there is some overhead. There is little you can do on your end if that is all the line is capable of.
