Port forwarding a zyxel AMG1302 T10B

Post by nes2015 »

First of all i do hope this is the correct place to post my problem am haven, and would be very grateful if a members of the speed guide .net could either help or point me to the right place.

Well my name is will, and from the UK, north east area, what my problem is, iam trying to connect a Nintendo wii on line to play black ops, yes people still play that game  lol. Right this game worked at my last house with talk talk bb, and now i have moved to a new area, i also got a new provider FUEL BB. They sent my a router the AMG 1302 T1OB which up to now is working fine, my mobile phone works with wifi so i know its working. but when i try to set up the settings in the Nintendo wii, YES it finds the router, i enter the password, and when it goes to the connection test it just fails every time.
Right looking all over the net. i do see that port forward is the thing to do for the wii to work with this router. now yes i can see vids, pdf files ect about doing this, but none at all for my router, on the ZyXEL Router Port Forwarding Guides i only see the router for the ZyXEL AMG1202-T10A..

After looking and looking i need to ask the pro's for help, so if anyone could please help me i would be a very happy chapy

Can you connect to the admin insterface on your router at http://192.168.1.1 ? (default user: admin, pass 1234)

There is a link to the manual for your model here: http://www.speedguide.net/routers/zyxel ... teway-3244

If you enter the correct Wi-Fi password, the Wii should be able to connect online ok.. However, some of their online play is discontinued I believe, see this:
