.TORRENT file open

I've downloaded file with .torrent extension. I don't know what to do next, what software use to get the data from those file?

The most popular torrent client programs are uTorrent and Transmission. There are a few others

Thought uTorrent was on the out as of late? (I could be wrong, thought I read that somewhere). :confused:

Yeah, you are correct about uTorrent probably. I still have an old version though, 2.x was a simple executable, very efficient. They bloated it with version 3.x forward imho.
