new pc build crashing randomly during games only

so heres my new setup

MSI Z97-GAMING 5 Motherboard - ATX, Intel Z97 Express

16gb kingston ddr3 ram

MSI GTX 780oc

and my psu
Ultra X4 750-Watt Modular Power Supply

water cooled CPU

as topic says new build I have great low temps and during games it will crash, some games it wont

Any futher details? What do you mean by "crash"...does it fully power cycle when playing a game? Or does the game just shut off and you're back to desktop? (CTD). Does she blue screeN? Lock up?

Is the memory you got certified/approved compatible with that specific motherboard? Or was it just "any old RAM of the right speed"?

Everyrhing is good for the mobo. Ans crash as it the pc just restarts

And no blue screen or anything. Sometkme i can play for 30mins till it restarts. Someimes only 5 mins. All drivers updated

Sounds like it is overheating even though your temps seem alright. I am guessing that this is a custom build. Just a question. Did you apply the generic thermal pad/paste or did you use something like arctic silver? Also, it could be your power supply is getting taxed.

The paste i used was the coolermaster brand that came with the liquid coolr.

Thw gpu is whatever it came with. Should i put new paste on the gpu? Prob do that when i get off work at 6ish. If that dont work ill retuen. Psu and get a bigger one. And sometines befor a crash theres a slight whine sound

look in the event viewer for clues and google the game name + PC crash

are the crashing games up to date ?

Its about any newer game. Fallout 3 and fallout vages plays juat fine lol. How dp i view thw errors?

well I exchanged the 750watt PSU for a 1050watt

changed the stock Thermal paste on the msi780 I shoulda took a pic and sent it to them, that stuff was alllll over it was bad now gotta run some games and see what happens wish me luck lol

ya sounds like a PSU problem. With a GTX780OC you need minimum a 850 watt power supply. I got two GTX660TI's in SLI mode with a FX8350 (OC'd to 4.5Ghz) system with a 850 watt PSU. As soon as I over clock my vid cards my system reboots.
