havent
't been around much past 2 1/2 weeks due to being in hospital.
i got hit while a pedestrian in a truck stop by another truck.
broke both legs,right on just above knee and both bones just above ankle.
left leg both bones also just above ankle.
spent 5 hrs in surgery and surgeon tells me i have about 3 pounds of rods and plates in my legs.
also suffered a concussion which is getting better.
docs a saving 9-12 months recovery and may not be able to return to work.
i will be released tues 5/6 to go home. finally after 3 weeks.
hope all are doing better than me

WOW.....
hope recovery goes well Ronny.....you're still here, evident by typing the post. Hope the healing and physical therapy goes well!

Good luck with the recovery. I thought 1 month of recovery was long for my surgery.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Ronny :(

Sounds like your lucky to be alive. Here's hoping everything goes well from here on in & you recover fully & quickly.

Wow! Ronny, I was at the doctor when you called, and due to your work, didn't want to bother you if you were driving...

Sorry to hear of the accident although I am happy that it wasn't worse than it was.. Let me know if I can help you out in any way...

i hope you got a hot nurse to take care of all your needs for the next year!

Hopefully you can get fixed up quickly.


You have to be soooo careful at the TS nowadays (not saying you weren't).
Now more so than ever, you here of someone getting hit every so often at the Truckstops....some even get killed.
A lot of these trucks are racing through the truckstops.

Some of these are the same ones, but you guys will get the idea anyway.
It's a huge problem.

well they didn't discharge me until wed afternoon and about 8:00 pm by time they got me home.those non emergency med transport are a terrible ride,wish i had someone come get me with a pick up.
