Was thinking about adding another 8gb to the machine, and what was selling for $52 is now $90! Ouch! It seems they started creeping up slowly and just lately have taken a huge jump. I guess I'm holding off on that other 8gb for now.

Prices tend to fluctuate due to current oil prices.

WOW... November of last year, I bought 2 sets of 16 gig sets of the gskill trident series for $299.98. They have gone up $20 a set.

a year or so ago, i was looking at getting 32GB of ram for a future build, someone had a sale of 4 8GB sticks on sale for $99, i thought the prices would drop more LOL

well i still have not built that "future build" yet

In 2013, memory prices show rising trend in the new year, the memory will continue to rise in price.
