weird artifacts from menus on desktop ?

weird artifacts from menus on desktop ?

i am getting this sometimes from random menu options, i can fix it by changing the desktop resolution and then setting the resolution back to normal, any idea on what causes this ?

this is a AMD R9 280X video card, windows 7 pro

it even show through the screen saver too

not on video card, i did a system restore to a few days ago and it seems fine now though.

Had similar one on Tuesday...different folder, same exact looking issue though....wondering if a flakey window update went around....

mine did it on random items, like on right click menus sometimes
