Probably just me, but I laughed more at this video than anything I've seen in a couple of years

On my 4th BC now and this is just so true.
Such hard-wired dogs it's ridiculous. Their breeding has made them so intent it takes over their daily lives, for good and for bad.

Same reasons why they're not recommended for apartments, or for impatient people, or for normal people.

No kicker, just the double stalking, but I was crying.

Haha...My Aussie has these tendencies as well. There's days that I wished I was dogless but I would miss 'em too much if they weren't around.

And don't think you're going to change the way things are normally done because that's not happening. "But I'm supposed to get my belly rubbed before going to bed and leaving you alone, I can't go to bed and leave you alone until you rub my belly." "well? belly rub? now? belly? are you there? I'm here waiting on my belly rub, then I can leave you alone."

My Mom's border collie would try to herd me everytime I got on my bike, even though we got him as a puppy and he'd never been trained to herd. He was a cool dog

Oh yeah. Hard-wired. You can train them to do it better, to turn left or right or hold or slow down or speed up...but herding is engrained into them.

Mine have always herded my other dogs

Haha, good one.

I was kinda being a smart ass to myself, they hardly come out of their house and the backyard fence is a solid pvc type.....can't remember if the dog is border collie or aussie....I've seen it maybe twice in 3 and a half yrs..

My Aunt has raised collies since I was about four or five years old. She wouldn't breed them until she had one or two sold.
