hi , can anyone help me check is my setting is correct . i setting up wireless internet connection in my hotel .

moderm ==> switch ===> access point ===> repeater .

this i already setting ....but some its always drop connection .... and some time my pc can connect to internet but my mobile phone cant connect.
same problem happens to my hotel customer .

is there i need to set up any setting in moderm like create dchp server . coz i really noob at this .

thanks in advance if anyone suggest any setting for me. :thumb: :thumb:

Is it a wireless signal you're trying to catch? Most hotels that have open wireless, have a captive portal, which using a "repeater" probably won't work well with. Is there an ethernet connection by the TV or bedside desk/nightstand lamp that you can uplink your router to? Bringing your own router shouldn't be necessary..just link your devices to the wireless if they have one.

With quite a few switches, you can install access points but all things should be of better quality. My opinion is, try avoiding TP-link and D-link stuff and get the switches, routers and access points of Linksys. I had very good experience with Linksys.
