Its been pretty popular with security conscious people for a while.
If it has features you are looking for, or you want to be more secure due to a lot of the press around java lately, it will do very nicely.

I've used it, but I found it eminently annoying. It requires a lot of work on the user's end; I found myself being blocked out of a lot of sites because of one or two settings I messed up.

when i used firefox i used no-script as well, you can set your favorite, known sites so you don't even notice it.
but it can be instruseive for sure
