Co-worker was bringing in hand-trucks of dog food, took her sweatshirt off and put it behind some of the shelved food, and kept on working.
45 minutes later the sweatshirt was gone so we looked at the cameras.
Showed a well-dressed woman with several friends, late 30's. She put her puppy down, picked up the sweatshirt and held it up to size it, then tucked it under her arm and kept shopping.
Paid and walked out the door.
Needless to say said co-worker was supremely pissed.
Funniest part, the woman had us engrave an ID tag that had her phone number and address on it
Trini called her and politely said she seemed to have accidently picked it up. She denied it.
"We have you on tape picking it up and putting it under your arm, then leaving the store with it. You have 30 minutes to return it before we call the police"
Needless to say she was back 20 minutes later with the sweatshirt, apologizing profusely, saying she took it cause her dog was cold.
Looked like she could pay my mortgage every month for the next year and never miss it.
