Games like Warcraft II

Hey, i just was cleaning my room and i found warcraft II. I starting playing and i got addicted to it , kinda like when i was a freshman in h.s. My question is are there any games that are newer than warcraft II, that are similar, wizards and orge type war of games that u can play over a lan. I have a lot of lan parties, and i was just wondering if there any games post warcraft II that were good.

there will be a warcraft III, there is also a warcraft II expansion

If you must stick with the same theme type, then i would suggest Myth1 or Myth2. It's not based on the same gaming engine as warcraft, in fact they are very different! But despite the differences, i think that you may appreciate Myth's mutiplayer gaming component since there are both cooperative and deathmatch games provided.

If you want to go beyond the time/place of Warcraft, then there are plenty of games out that play just like the original: Starcraft, Dark Reign, Red Alert, etc...

From what i a have seen, WArcraft III looks/feels more like Myth than it does towards its predessecors: WAR1 and WAR2.

Lastly, Kudos to Blizzard! You gotta love Warcraft II Phew!

I'm a big fan of Command & Conquer and Red Alert games. I haven't tried RA 2 yet though. Civilization is good too, I don't know if there's a newer version. Also, Ages of Empires is good.

STAR CRAFT WAAAAAAAAY BETTER THAN WARCRAFT II There is a new one blizzard announced its WOW, World Of Warcraft,looks good but have to pay monthly fee to play on there server
