I need advice on building a new folding rig

Post by OSULLY »

It looks like I'll have the resources to build a new folding rig over the next 6 months and with so much info out there I decided to ask for advice. My initial thoughts are for dual 6 core cpus and dual evga 570, and before you ask, yes some relative I didn't know died and left enough for this and a used car.

Have seen some of the best info out there IMO on Tom's Hardware http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/34811 ... nit-memory (not just this thread though, look around a little there)

The prices on those xeon chips are so nasty that I'll go with a 3930k overclocked with some seriouse cooling, hopefuly the folding on the nvidea 600's will be staightened out and I can use those
